Björn Johansson, Researcher. PhD in Telecommunication January 2009, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). MSc in Engineering physics March 2004, Lund Institute of Technology. You can also check out this page. My advisor is Mikael Johansson and my co-advisor is Karl Henrik Johansson.

I have just started my new industry job (November 2009).

Research interests:

I am interested in convex optimization with emphasis on distributed optimization and decomposition methods. I have especially been investigating highly decentralized methods for non-smooth optimization. Furthemore, I am also interested in resource allocation and cross-layer optimization in communication systems.
