    Attended the 52nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy, and presented our paper Fast Distributed Estimation of Empirical Mass Functions over Anonymous Networks.

    Our paper “Fast Distributed Estimation of Probability Mass Functions over Anonymous Networks” has been accepted for publication at the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, to be held on December 10-13, 2013, in Firenze, Italy.

    Challenge24 finals

    Our team “define_ever” participated in the 24-hour programming contest Challenge24 in Budapest, and ended up on 12th place out of 30 teams in the finals. The problem set was exciting, and I worked on a task to balance a bike and drive around delivering newspapers. There was also a task to control a live laser cutter!

    Conference on Decision and Control submission

    We submitted a paper “Fast Distributed Estimation of Probability Mass Functions over Anonymous Networks” to the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control. It studies distributed algorithms for estimating entire distributions of measurements collected in a network.

    Project course report review

    Just finished reviewing the report for the project course in automatic control. Impressed by the accomplishments of our students, who successfully managed to demonstrate “A Highly Efficient and Autonomous Goods Terminal” in our Smart Mobility Lab. Good job!
