Magnus Jansson, Ph.D.
Magnus Jansson was born in Enköping, Sweden, and received the
Master of Science, Technical Licentiate, and Ph.D. degrees in
electrical engineering
(automatic control)
from KTH Royal Institute of Technology,
Stockholm, Sweden, in 1992, 1995 and 1997, respectively.
In January 2002 he was appointed Docent in Signal Processing at KTH.
From 1993 to 1997 he was a research and teaching assistant in the
Automatic Control group at
the Department of Signals, Sensors and Systems, KTH.
During 1997-98 he held a lecturer position in the same
group. 1998-2003 he was a
Research Associate (forskarassistent) in the Signal Processing Lab at
the School of Electrical Engineering, KTH, where he currently (from March 2003) holds an Associate Professor (universitetslektor) position.
Dr Jansson spent one year during 1998-99 at the
Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering,
University of Minnesota.
Dr Jansson is an associate editor of
EURASIP Journal on Advances
in Signal Processing and IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
His research interests include navigation and positioning, sensor array
processing, time series analysis, and system identification.
Magnus Jansson is also affiliated with the
ACCESS Linnaeus Centre.
